BGP Peering with HSRP virtual IP address : It is not possible to form the BGP peering with HSRP virtual IP address. But by using tricky method we can do it. Let us take the scenario: Here we are having three routers R1, R2, R3. R3 having bgp peering with R1 & R2. As we everyone know the BGP peering will not happen with HSRP VIP. The only way to form the peering with an analystic loopback in both R1 & R2 routers.                                                                                                          .The configurations are given below      R1: Here the R1 has highest HSRP priority of 200 . So the BGP forms  the peering with R1's loopback IP address.
